50 FUN & BUDGET-FRIENDLY THINGS TO DO IN 2018 – Bring a change in the world

Life gets so overwhelming sometimes and we get stuck up in our daily routines and schedules so much that we don’t even have time for ourselves sometimes. We forget to enjoy, we forget that we are only blessed with one life and we have to make the most out of it.
BRING THE CHANGE
This life is all we have and we should give all of our efforts to do what makes us and others happy. We should make a difference in this world.
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
I read this quote when I was very young, almost 8 years ago and it had my heart. This quote has so much depth if we think about it for a while. All of us want to see a change in this world, in one way or the other. We want to make this world a better place.
HOW CAN WE BRING THE CHANGE?
But all we do is advice others while we sit in our homes doing absolutely nothing that would make a mark. Yet we complain that the world is going towards the wrong direction. No, the world is not going towards the wrong way, it’s the people who are going in the wrong route, it’s us who are not going in the right path. And we need to switch that.
Even if we cannot do much about it, because of some particular reason, we should make small attempts. Everybody starts with little. If every one of us just makes one tiny amendment in their daily routine to make a difference in the world. Trust me, the globe would change entirely.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
There are billions of people in the world and if every one of them made one change, there will be billions of changes in the world. See? We can do it!
And in order to do it, we have to start small. Plant a tree, do an act of kindness, compliment someone, assist your classmate, it can be anything. And it doesn’t have to be for someone else, you can do it for yourself too. If you can make yourself feel better, you can make others feel better too.
If you’ll feel good throughout the day, chances are that you will try to make others feel good too. And even if you don’t, I’m pretty sure you won’t hurt anyone. And that is an achievement.
GIVE YOURSELF IMPORTANCE
You should reward and treat yourself every now and then & that where self-care or self-love routines come in. I highly recommend having a self-care routine to follow every day or every other day because
a) it makes you feel really good.
b) You will develop a beautiful connection with yourself and will highly appreciate yourself.
The point is to make everything and/or anything better whether it is yourself, your mom or a stranger. I think everyone should make a list of things to do within a specific time and on that list, one should include random things which will make himself as well as other people around him happy.
And it’s not just about making yourself happy, it’s about trying and learning new things and exploring yourself as well as the beautiful nature that we are blessed with. By doing this, we’ll appreciate the existence of everything, ourselves, our family, friends and the things around us.
I’ve made a list of 50 things to do in 2018 and I have included random things I could think of and some of the things I found randomly on the internet. I recommend you too, make a list which is practical enough to follow and complete each task one by one.
In this way, we’ll feel more productive and better about ourselves and we’ll be contributing our share in making this world a better place and bringing the change that we really wish for.
This is a list of things you can do for absolutely no reason or when you are bored or you can go ahead and make a list of things to do before this year ends or even a list of things to do within the next 365 days. Come on, write it down, give yourself a task, challenge yourself. You’ll enjoy a lot. Trust me!
You can even do this with your best friend or your sister or even your partner. Majority of the things in this list are random and fun.
1. Grow a plant.
2.Find and stick to a signature scent that makes you feel good.
3. Write letters of appreciation (on birthdays, new year’s day or even on a random day)
4. Donate time and/or money to charity.
5. Start eating healthy.
6. Read at least 5 books.
7. Buy yourself something you always wanted.
8. Hit your goal weight/body.
9. Get ready for no reason.
10. Learn to cook something new.
11. Make a vision board.
12. Watch the sunrise with your loved one.
13. Write a list of things that make you happy. Now, experience 8 of those ‘things’.
14. Buy yourself (or a stranger) a bunch of balloons.
15. Write a love letter (to someone or yourself).
16. Bake macarons or any other favorite cookie of yours or even cinnamon rolls and share it with your neighbors.
17. Decorate your fridge.
18. Hit two goals this year.
19. Finish a TV Show.
20. Write a post about yourself or your friend.
21. Take a month off of sugar.
22. Meal prep for a week.
23. Try a different food with your family.
24. Smile. Be kind.
25. At least one amazing visit to the spa.
26. Buy something new for your house.
27. Family game nights.
28. Make a private Instagram account and upload daily images on it with your family, friends, and pets.
29. Make a spot in your home, Tumblr.
30. Learn a new language or a part of it.
31. Make new friends.
32. Apply for your dream job.
33. Watch a popular TV series.
34. Cook at least one meal to perfection.
35. Walk more and smile while you walk.
36. Make your baby’s shadow box (or your nephew’s).
37. Visit a new place.
38. Try your dream hairstyle.
39. Plan your dream life on Pinterest.
40. Make a cookbook of your favorite recipes.
41. Make a routine and stick to it.
42. Take care of yourself and your family.
43. No junk food for a week.
44. Learn a new skill.
45. Email people, appreciating them for whatever they do.
46. Make an online friend.
47. Visit your grandparents.
48. Drink more water.
49. Try a Pinterest project you fascinate.
50. Write about your ideal day. Now, make your day ‘ideal’.
This is just an idea of how you can make a list. This list mainly includes things to do for your own self but you can go ahead and do the same thing for someone else. Example: Point number 25 is “At least one amazing visit to the spa”. Now you can take your mom or your friend or a person who cannot afford it, to the salon for an amazing spa day. and in the same way, you can alter these points however you like.
Or you can entirely make a new list from scratch for yourself and start making yourself and other people happy. Because that’s what life is all about! And you don’t even have to follow the list, strictly. The list is just the motivation and the inspiration. You can come up with new ideas every day and do whatever you feel like doing that day. no problem!
The point is to stay focused and keep moving forward!
